In short: some “Register” links on TampaRunners are affiliate links. If you register for a race through one, we may earn a small commission. You pay the same price either way.
How it works
TampaRunners belongs to affiliate programs run by race registration platforms, including RunSignUp. The registration links on our race pages may include a tracking code that tells the platform you came from us. If you register, the platform may pay us a referral fee.
- Your registration fee is the same whether or not you use our link.
- The commission comes from the registration platform, not from you.
- The tracking code may set a cookie on the registration platform’s site. Our Privacy Policy has more detail.
Why we do it
TampaRunners is free to use, and listing a race or club is free. Affiliate commissions help pay for hosting and the time it takes to keep the race calendar current.
Our editorial independence
We list races because they’re happening in Tampa Bay, not because of an affiliate relationship. We list races whether or not they’re in an affiliate program, and a commission never decides which races we feature or what we write about them.
